隨著我國國民經(jīng)濟的高速發(fā)展，汽車數(shù)量大幅度的增加，國內(nèi)高速公路、城市道路、
停車場等設施越來越多，對交通控制、安全管理的要求也日益提高。在國內(nèi)外，智能交通系統(tǒng)(rrs)已成為當前交通管理發(fā)展的主要方向。車牌照識別(LPR)系統(tǒng)的研究與開發(fā)，是現(xiàn)代化交通發(fā)展的熱點問題，也是影響交通系統(tǒng)智能化、現(xiàn)代化的重要因素。本文對車牌字符識別和車牌字符分割等方法進行了分析研究。

Abstract:With the rapid development of China's national economy, the substantial increase in the number of motor vehicles, domestic highways, urban roads, parking lots and other facilities more and more on traffic control, safety management requirements are also increasing. At home and abroad, intelligent transportation system (rrs) the current traffic management has become the main direction. Car license plate recognition (LPR) system research and development, modernization of transport development is a hot issue, but also impact on intelligent transport system, modernization of the important factors. In this paper, the license plate character recognition and license plate character segmentation methods were analyzed.
